Most shorts advertised as "plastic-free" really aren't. Brands use the term "exclusive of trim" so that they can say their products are 100% Cotton. There's nothing illegal about this, but it doesn't feel right to us. While the main fabric may be 100% cotton, the elastic waistbands are still spandex and polyester, which are plastic and not natural.
Our Organic Cotton Shorts are different. We use a completely natural waistband made with 60% Organic Cotton and 40% Natural Rubber. This ensures that our shorts are truly 100% Plastic-Free.

These are great shorts! I like the pockets and the drawstring. I have a 31” waist and I ordered the large. These are true to size. The rise is about 13”, which I totally love because I have a long torso. These hit around the lower part of my belly button. These have held up nicely so far with no signs of pilling yet. The only thing I would change is the inseam length. It’s just a tinge too short especially when the shorts rides up. I’ll definitely be back to buy more shorts because this is the only pair of non plastic shorts I own and I NEED more ❤️
