Designed with human feet in mind, our toe socks allow you to achieve full toe splay and take advantage of the wide toe box in your barefoot shoes. These socks are no show/ankle height and sit right above the ankle. They have a soft heel tab to prevent skin abrasion from your shoes. The same style and fit as our Organic Cotton Toe Socks, but made with Merino Wool. They are great for any activity or daily wear. Merino wool regulates temperature - warm feet in winter, cool feet in summer. Unlike most wool socks, they are not blended with nylon or polyester.

  • 80% Australian Merino Wool / 15% Organic Cotton / 5% BPA-Free Spandex (minimum necessary for fit, completely enclosed in natural fibers)
  • Made in China at an OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified Factory
  • Shipped in recyclable packaging
  • Machine Wash Cold, Hang to Dry (Treat these like a wool sweater. Because there's no nylon, they will shrink and become less durable in the dryer.)

Perfect match for my workout

These socks work great for some shoes, some activities. This is the pair I wear to my senior exercise class where we spend a part of that hour without shoes, in our stocking feet. These socks are perfect for that. But I can't wear them with less "casual" shoes, they are too thick for that.

I love my Maro wool socks. I've become of fan of wool and alpaca socks in the last few years. But now I have more issues with my toes rubbing. I tried Creepers, and liked them. But they don't fit nearly as well. After wearing my Maro socks, I went back for more!

I have found the wool sock tend to shed after wearing and washing. Some of the wool has balled up on the socks and some has come off. I'm not sure if this common for these socks. I like the texture of the wool and my feet seems to stay dry.

When I was in the military I hated wearing wool socks. That was 40 years ago so I decided to revisit it. These socks are very comfortable. The toe socks thing is new to me but I find I like the mobility I don't get from my regular socks. I will indeed buy more. I also like the fact that they are all natural materials, no plastics.

Why should I wear toe socks?

Unlike "normal" socks, our toe socks allow your feet to have total freedom as nature intended. Our toes aren't there to be stuffed into restrictive tube socks. They should be free to move, grip, and hold, supporting a better foundation for the rest of your body from the ground up.

When will the color/size I want be back in stock?

We're working hard to make all out of stock products available again as soon as possible. This is one of our top challenges as a small, fast growing brand. What we have in stock is always reflected on the product page. We also do preorders from time to time.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship almost everywhere on Earth. We tried to find the lowest possible shipping rates for our international customers, but if something doesn't look right to you, don't hesitate to reach out. In most cases, import duties and taxes are collected at checkout.
